11 Drunk Struggles That Basic Girls Face In University/ College

Hey everybody, so here are 11 drunk struggles that almost every girl (basic or not) has experienced or probably will experience during university/college career AND probably after too because lets get real, settling down and getting married before 25 sounds a lot like leaving a party before 10pm (I’m being sarcastic so no offence to anyone)
When making plans with friends the excitement is REAAAL and this is what it always seems to look like:

There’s also ALWAYS AT LEAST one friend in the group that has this kind of mindset:

NOW THIS IS WHEN THE STRUGGLES START TO BEGIN:

1.) All this time leading up to the night you are SO pumped and so are all your friends but you realize how much homework and midterms you have coming up.

You know you CAN’T miss out because of FOMO (fear of missing out). You somehow justify that NOT ONLY will your night turn out like this but somehow the REST of your life will too if you miss out on this night:

So you think to yourself OMG if i miss out my life will be over and I’ll some how turn into a crazy cat lady so I HAVE to go out.

2.) Now that you have come to a conclusion that you’re DEFINITELY going out, you try on the outfit that in your mind looked PERFECT and FABULOUS but in reality you look like this:

lol

So this is how you react:

3.) Thankfully we all have that friend with lots of clothes that has your back but that’s when the selfies and photos start to begin and it always seems to turn out like this:

4.) Now it’s the time of the night when everyone is ready to leave for the bar but you feel TOO SOBER because you took forever to get ready. So you always have to resort to this:

5.) Now that you are finally there, you’re busting out your AMAZING dance moves at the bar/club and wondering why no one is buying you a drink with moves like this:

6.) So you resort to just going up to a random and say this:

Please and thank you…..but unfortunately they say no…. AWKWARD.

7.) Seeing an ex or someone you used to hook up with that you DEFINITELY did not want to see:

And let’s hope you’re Michael in this situation.

8.) It’s almost the end of the night and you’re trying to rally up all your friends BUT trying to reason or talk to your drunk friend always feels like this:

9.) If for whatever reason (let’s hope never, ALWAYS USE THE BUDDY SYSTEM) you are ever walking home alone, you always think the WORST is going to happen. If someone gets too close to you on the street this is what it would look like:

10.) and NO MATTER what happens this always seems to be how the night ends:

11.) Now let’s not forget about the morning because we always usually feel something like this:

Note the coffee in his hand.

Anyways basic or not basic, every girl has DEFINITELY gone through at least one of these struggles and if you haven’t then you lie like a rug.

and here we see a basic bitch in her natural drunk elements (me)

Stating that you’d rather wait until 25 to settle down is some big bullshit. You don’t actually enjoy random hook-ups, nobody does and anyone who says they do is a liar. Let’s be honest, the one thing you really want is a serious relationship. If you’re lucky enough to find someone you are truly compatible with, before age 25, do yourself a favor and don’t ruin it by pretended you’d rather live a party life instead. Oh and don’t call yourself a basic bitch, you’re better than that. Keep on keeping on.

Chuckcity, I’m sorry you took this a little too serious but thats not what this blog is about. It’s all about sarcasm. Come on now, the struggle is not that real and this blog is all about humour and over exaggerating the struggles that girls go through in university that really are not that big of struggles but thank you for the advice.
